Goya is a city in the Argentine Mesopotamia located in the southwest of the Corrientes province. As of the 2022 census, it has roughly 106,368 residents [INDEC].

Situated across Reconquista, Santa Fe, on the eastern bank of the Paraná River, the city is 218 kilometers south of Corrientes, the province capital, and 715 kilometers north-northwest of Buenos Aires.

Every year, Goya organizes the National Festival of the Surubí, which features a well-known fishing competition worldwide. The popular giant catfish in Paraná is called surubí.
