The provincial capital of Alberta, Canada, is Edmonton. The center of the Edmonton Metropolitan part, which is encircled by the central part of Alberta, is Edmonton, which is located on the North Saskatchewan River. The city is the focal point of the “Calgary–Edmonton Corridor,” which is defined by Statistics Canada as the area between Edmonton and Calgary, the largest city in Alberta, and the numerous smaller municipalities that lie in between.
