One of Canada’s thirteen provinces and territories is New Brunswick. It is one of the four Atlantic provinces as well as one of the three Maritime provinces.
The states of Quebec to the north, Nova Scotia to the east, the Bay of Fundy to the southeast, the Gulf of Saint Lawrence to the northeast, and Maine, in the United States, to the west, encircle New Brunswick. Approximately 83% of New Brunswick is covered in forests, with the Appalachians residing in its northern region. The province experiences mild summers and snowy winters due to its continental climate
