The Central Bohemian Region is the largest region in the Czech Republic, covering 11,014 km2, or nearly 14% of the country’s total area. It borders Liberec Region to the north, Hradec Králové Region to the northeast, Pardubice Region to the east, Vysočina Region to the south, South Bohemian Region to the west, Plzeň Region to the west, and Ústí nad Labem Region.
