One of the Andaman Islands’ islands is Curlew Island. It is a portion of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands’ Indian union territory, namely the North and Middle Andaman administrative district. 150 km (93 mi) to the north of Port Blair is the island.

Past Events
Curlew Island had a permanent population and a wildlife station to monitor birds. Due to a budget cut, the station was evacuated at the end of 2015. It is presently empty on the island.

The Stewart Sound Group is the owner of the island.
