In the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, there is an administrative district known as the Lower Dibang Valley district. It is the nation’s tenth-least populated district.

A portion of the Lohit district was divided to create the Dibang Valley district in June 1980. The Dibang Valley district was divided into the Lower Dibang Valley district and the Dibang Valley district on December 16, 2001.[3]
Location and chronology
Roing serves as the district’s headquarters. The district offices were located in Anini prior to its separation from the district on December 16, 2001.
