In the Indian state of Bihar, Chandi is a tiny town near Nalanda.
The Hindu goddess Chandi Devi, in honor of whom the town has a dedicated temple, is the source of the town’s name.

The town of Chandi is in the Chandi Tehsil of the Nalanda District in the Indian state of Bihar. It is situated 17.3 kilometers from Bihar Sharif, the district’s largest city, and 42 km from Patna, the state’s largest city.
