Jale, often spelled Jalley, is a town in Darbhanga District, Bihar, India. It serves as the administrative hub of Jale Block. It is roughly 32 kilometers northwest of Darbhanga, the district capital, and lies north of the Bagmati River. The town was given its name in honor of Jaleshwari sthan, a rural Darbhanga pilgrimage place. As of 2011, there are 37,256 people living there.
