In the Indian state of Bihar, Jhajha is a notified area and a city located in the Jamui district. It is located in Bihar’s southern region, not far from the Jharkhand border. It is located around midway between Madhupur Junction and Kiul Junction on the Howrah – Mughalsarai mainline.

Statistics According to the 2011 Indian census, Jhajha city has 7,223 households and 40,646 residents, of which 21,406 were men and 19,240 were women.
