Formerly known as Jahanabad, Kudra is a town in the Kaimur district of the Indian state of Bihar, along with a matching community development block. In the Kaimur district, it is the third-largest town.[Reference required] It is located roughly 18 km away from Bhabua, the district headquarters. There were 30986 people living in Kudra (also known as Jahanabad) as of 2011.[2] All of the main train lines are connected to the Kudra railway station.
