Darbhanga division includes Madhubani district, one of Bihar, India’s thirty-eight districts. The administrative center of the organization is situated in Madhubani. 4,487,379 people called the 3,501 square kilometer (1,352 square mile) district home as of 2011.

In 2022, Madhubani will be the district in Bihar that produces the most fish.

Past Events
After being divided from Darbhanga district in 1972, Madhubani became its own district. It is thought that the ancient Mithila Kingdom’s capital was Baliraajgadh, an archeological site located in the Madhubani area today.
