In the Indian state of Bihar, Mokama is a town and municipal council located in the Patna district. It is situated on the Ganges River’s southern banks, 90 kilometers (56 miles) east of Patna. The town of Mokama, which links north and south of Bihar, produces the second most lentils in all of India. Following independence, it became an industrial area inside the State of Bihar.
