Located in the Rohtas District of Bihar, India, Nasriganj  is a nagar panchayat town and corresponding community development block. Situated near the banks of the Son River, the town flourished as a major economic center throughout the late 1800s. The 2011 Indian Census found that there were 23,819 people living in the town of Nasriganj and 115,117 people living in the Nasriganj block overall. The block included 53 villages, of which 50 were inhabited and 3 were uninhabited, in addition to the town of Nasriganj.
