Rajauli[a] is a tehsil, block, and subdivision (sub-district) in the Indian state of Bihar’s Magadh division’s Nawada district. The Rajauli tehsil is situated on the bank of the Dhanarjay[b] river and is roughly 30 kilometers (19 mi) away from Nawada city on National Highway 20 (formerly known as NH31). In the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, Rajauli, a reserved Assembly Constituency (AC) seat for Scheduled Caste (SC), had a total of 302900 voters.[5] Rajauli block has 169 revenue villages and 17 panchayats, while Rajauli subdivision has 688 revenue villages and 95 panchayats.
