In the Gujarati state of Amreli, there is a town called Babra that serves as the taluka headquarters. It is located in Amreli’s northern region. Babra is on the main road that connects Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Amreli.

Past Events
One of the five Pandavas, Arjuna’s son, Babruvahana, is claimed to have had Babra as his capital. There is still Babhruvahana’s Kund (stepwell), often called Panch Kund, where the Kalubhar River originates. During the British era, it served as the Kathiawar Agency thana’s seat. The Vala Kathis held Babra in their grasp.
