Gujarat’s Jamnagar District is located in Western India. Jamnagar, the name of the city, is home to its headquarters. Large Indian corporations, including Reliance, have their production facilities located there. Several palaces, a Marine National Park, and the Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary are a few of its features. The western portion of the district was divided into the Devbhoomi Dwarka district in 2013.

The largest private corporation in India, Reliance Industries, is building the largest zoo in the world not far from Jamnagar, which is 28 kilometers away. In FY25, the upscale hotel brand Lemon Tree Hotels plans to open a new location in Jamnagar.At an estimated cost of 500 crore, the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation intends to create a riverfront along the Rangmati and Nagmati rivers.
