In the Indian state of Gujarat, there is an administrative district called Narmada District. The Rajpipla district headquarters are situated there. The district is bordered to the north by the districts of Vadodara and Chhota Udaipur; to the east by the district of Nandurbar in the state of Maharashtra; to the south by the districts of Surat and Tapi; and to the west by the district of Bharuch. There are 590,297 people living in the district, which has a 2,755 km2 total area as of 2011. In 2011, 10.44% of it was urban.[1] After Dang and Porbandar, it is the third least populated district in Gujarat (out of 33) as of 2011.
