One of Gujarat state’s 33 districts is Tapi district in western India. Vyara, Songadh, Nizar, Valod, Uchhal, Dolavan, and Kukarmunda are its seven talukas. The district office is located in Vyara town. There are two municipalities and 523 villages in Tapi. A few talukas that broke away from the Surat district were used to create the district in 2007.
