Within the National Capital Region, the historical Mewat region, and the Braj region of India, Nuh district (formerly the Mewat district) is one of the 22 districts of Haryana in northern India. With an area of 1,860 square kilometers (720 sq mi) and a population of 1.09 million in 2011, it is bordered to the north by Gurugram district, to the east by Palwal district of Haryana, and to the south by Deeg and Alwar districts.
