The southernmost district of Himachal Pradesh, located in northern India, is called Sirmaur district. 90% of its people live in villages, and the majority of the country is agricultural and hilly. The capital, Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Lana Palar, Tuheri, Bhawan, Sirmaur, Shamra, UchaTikker, and Suketi—the latter of which is home to Shivalik Fossil Park—are a few of its towns.
