One of the twenty-four districts in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand is Godda district. It is located in the state’s northeastern region. The region that is currently the Godda district was formerly a part of the Santhal Parganas district. The Godda district’s main office is located in Godda town. The district is 2110 km² in size and has about 1,313,551 people living in it.
