The Indian state of Karnataka is home to the Dakshina Kannada district, which has its main office in the seaside city of Mangalore. It is a component of the wider Tulu Nadu area. The district spans a region that is tucked between the Arabian Sea to the west and the Western Ghats to the east. During the Indian monsoon, Dakshina Kannada experiences an abundance of rainfall. Its borders are as follows: to the north, Udupi district (which was formerly a part of this district); to the northeast, Chikmagalur district; to the east, Hassan district; to the southeast, Kodagu district; and to the south, Kasaragod district of Kerala. There were 2,083,625 people living in the Dakshina Kannada district of India as per the 2011 census. I
