With 32,359 residents as of the 2011 Census, Gajendragad, also known as Gajendragada, is a Town Municipal Council city in the Gadag District of Karnataka, India. It is situated at 15.73°N 75.98°E.[1] At an average altitude of 643 meters (2109 feet), it is situated. This location is well-known for its hill station, hill strip, filming locations, fort, Kalakaleshwara temple, market for wedding and festival attire in Java, windmills, and handlooms. Between the district headquarters in Gadag, 110 kilometers from Hubli, 200 kilometers from Belgaum, and 450 kilometers from the state capital Bangalore, it is approximately 55 kilometers.
