In the Indian state of Karnataka, the city of Harihara, also known as Harihar, is located in the Davanagere District. It serves as the Harihara Taluk’s administrative hub. Harihareshwara Temple is the reason behind Harihara’s fame.
Located 275 kilometers north of Bangalore, on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, is Harihara. “Twin cities” are Harihar and Davangere, which are separated by 14 miles. Harihar is situated on National Highway 48 (Mumbai – Bangalore), and it is connected by road and rail. The weather is consistently rather lovely there. The Tungabhadra River is this city’s main lifeline, but increasing development has made it overfished and contaminated.
