A panchayat town in the Dharwad district of the Indian state of Karnataka is called Navalgund, also known as Navalagunda. A hill of peacocks is called Navalagunda or Navilagunda. Navalgund is well-known for its durries. Geographical Indication has been granted to Navalagunda Durries.
