Sirwar, often written Sirawara, is a taluk in the Raichur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It was formerly a town under the Manvi taluk. One of Karnataka’s towns with the quickest rate of growth is Sirwar. It is well-known for its litchi, which it exports in large quantities, and for paddy, or Sona Mossurie Rice. It serves as the commercial hub for about thirty settlements in the area.
