Yelandur is a town and taluk in southern Karnataka, India’s Chamarajanagar district. In this area, it is significant both historically and culturally. It was formally incorporated into Chamarajanagar district along with three other taluks after the district was informed of the Mysore district’s bifurcation in 1997.
