Iritty is a municipality and taluk located in Kerala State, India’s Kannur district. The town serves as the primary marketplace for the neighboring farming towns. In God’s Own Country, Iritty is referred to as The Coorg Valley. Iritty is one of the five taluks in the Kannur district and is located 20 km (12 mi) from Kannur International Airport. One of the larger towns, Iritty, is situated between Coorg and the Kannur international airport in Mahanur.
