Kondotty is a town, municipality, and aeropolis in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India. It is situated 24 km from Malappuram, close to the Calicut International Airport. It serves as the administrative center for Kondotty Taluk, which chief minister Oommen Chandy announced on December 23, 2013, as the seventh taluk in the Malappuram district.

The mighty Zamorins of Calicut dynasty, who were the real rulers of Eranad, had their ancient capital in the Nediyiruppu district of Kondotty municipality. Another name for the Zamorin royal family is Nediyiruppu Swaroopam.
