Manjeri is a significant town and municipality in Kerala, India’s Malappuram district. It is the state’s fourth-most populated municipality. It is a part of the Malappuram metropolitan region and is located 13 kilometers (8.1 mi) northeast of Malappuram, the district seat, and 23 kilometers (14 mi) southeast of Karipur International Airport.It is the headquarters of Eranad Taluk and one of the principal commercial towns within the Malappuram metropolitan agglomeration. Manjeri Municipality is an institution of local self-government that oversees three villages: Manjeri, Payyanad, and Narukara.
