North Paravur, a municipality in Kerala, India’s Ernakulam district, was once known as Paravur or Parur. It lies roughly 201 km (124.9 mi) north of Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital, and 20 km (12.4 mi) north of the district collectorate in Thrikkakara. North Paravur is situated 19 km (11.8 mi) north of the Kochi city center and is a component of the Kochi metropolitan area. North Paravur has 31,503 residents, with a population density of 3,490/km2 (9,000/sq mi), according to the 2011 Indian census.
