One of the taluks and a significant hill town in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, India, Thamarassery (previously known as Thazhmalachery) is located 29 km east of Koyilandy and 30 km northeast of Kozhikode (Calicut) city. The town is located along US Highway 766.
