In Kerala, an Indian state, the municipal town of Tirurangadi is located in the Malappuram district. This historic town gained notoriety for actively taking part in the freedom movement, particularly in the 1920s. Situated 30 km south of Calicut and 140 km north of Ernakulam, it functions as a local taluk.

It is situated 16 km southwest of Kondotty town, 17 km north of Tirur, 10 km northwest of Kottakkal, 11 km northeast of Tanur town, 9 km east of the seaside town of Parappanangadi, and 18 km west of Malappuram.
