One of the districts of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is Barwani district. Barwani is home to the district’s administrative center. 1,385,881 people live in the 5,427 km² Barwani district as per the 2011 census. The Narmada River marks the district’s northern boundary, and it is located in Madhya Pradesh’s southwest portion. To the south of it is the Satpura Range. The districts of Dhar District to the north, Khargone District to the east, Gujarat state to the west, and Maharashtra state to the south all abut the district.
