In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Mehgaon is a city and a Nagar Parishad located in the Bhind district.

Ramdhan Singh Narwaria was Mehgaon’s first MLA. He held the position for three terms: 1952–1957, 1962–1967, and 1947–1952.

There are elections every five years for the fifteen wards that make up Mehgaon. There are 21,335 people living in the Mehgaon Nagar Parishad; 11,462 of them are men and 9,873 are women, according to a 2011 Census India data.

Ramjilal (Rama) Gondiya is a social activist, a former Mehgaon Nagar Parishad councillor, and a local politician.He actively and effectively addressed the issues in the area and has been quite vocal about them.

His mother, Mrs. Javitri Devi, and wife, Mrs. Sunita Devi, are also Mehgaon NP council members.
