Central India’s Rajgarh district is a part of Madhya Pradesh. The district’s administrative centre is located in the city of Rajgarh. Rajgarh was formerly known as Jhanjhanipur. One of the aspirational districts chosen by the Indian government is Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh. 1,545,814 people live in the district, which has a 6,154 km2 area according to the 2011 census. The Parbati River constitutes the district’s eastern boundary, while the Kali Sindh River forms its western boundary. The district is situated on the northern edge of the Malwa plateau. Rajgarh, Khilchipur, Jirapur, Biaora, Narsinghgarh, Sarangpur, and Pachore are the district’s seven tehsils.
