The district of Buldhana, , is situated in the Amravati division of Maharashtra, India. Situated 500 kilometers from Mumbai, the state capital, it is in the western edge of the Vidarbha area. The towns and cities in the district include Lonar, Chikhli, Shegaon, Malkapur, Khamgaon, Dhad, and Deulghat. Its borders are as follows: Madhya Pradesh to the north; districts of Akola, Washim, and Amravati to the east; district of Jalna to the south; and districts of Jalgaon and Aurangabad to the west. The district’s largest city is Khamgaon.
