In the Indian state of Maharashtra, the city of Chiplun is located in the Ratnagiri district. It serves as both the Chiplun Taluka headquarters and one of the Ratnagiri district’s financial and commercial hubs. Situated on the Mumbai-Goa highway (NH-66), it is approximately 250 km south of Mumbai and 90 km north of Ratnagiri in the Konkan area of Maharashtra.
