In the Indian state of Maharashtra, Jafrabad is a town and tehsil located in the Jalna subdivision of the Jalna district.

Jafrabad lives on the Purna River’s north bank. Jafrabad gained notoriety for the battle of Asseye in 1803, a battle in which the British officer Colonel Stevenson, a victim of the war, lost his life, and for which a modest monument honoring his name was erected.
