The district of Pherzawl is situated in Manipur’s southern region.Churachandpur District borders it on the east; Tamenglong District, Noney District, and Jiribam District border it on the north; the Cachar District of Assam borders it on the west; and the Sinlung Hills of Mizoram border it on the south. The Pherzawl District comprises over 200 settlements.
