One of Odisha’s thirty districts, located on India’s eastern coast, is Jagatsinghpur District. After splitting from the Cuttack district on April 1, 1993, it became a standalone district with its own headquarters located in the town of Jagatsinghpur. The district of Jagatsinghpur is small geographically and triangular in shape, with a deltaic and somewhat coastal terrain. With a landmass of 1759 km2, it is the state’s smallest district.
