One of the twenty-three districts in the Indian state of Punjab is the Firozpur district, sometimes referred to as Ferozepur district. The district of Firozpur is 2,190 km2 (850 sq mi) in size.

The district’s capital is the city of Firozpur (Ferozepur). Amritsari Gate, Wansi Gate, Makhu Gate, Zira Gate, Bagdadi Gate, Mori Gate, Delhi Gate, Magjani Gate, Multani Gate, and Kasuri Gate are the ten gates that surround it.
