The district of Salumbar is found in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated close to the Gujarati border in southern Rajasthan. It is made up of the five Tehsils of Sarada, Lasadiya, Salumbar, Semari, and Jhallara that were originally a part of the Udaipur district.
