The district of Pedapalli is situated in the northern part of Telangana, an Indian state. Ramagundam serves as the commissionerate, while Peddapalli[2][3] serves as its administrative headquarters. Mancherial, Karimnagar, Jagtial, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts are all bordered by the district. This district includes the city of Ramagundam, which is located in the coalfields of the Godavari Valley and is home to one of the biggest thermal power plants in India, located in the southern region under NTPC. The majority of industries have ties to Godavarikhani, NTPC, and Ramagundam.
