Ranga Reddy District (abbreviated R. R. District) is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters is in Kongara Kalan Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal. The district is named after K. V. Ranga Reddy, the former deputy chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh. The district borders Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad districts.
