Sipahijala District is a district in Tripura, India. This district was founded in January 2012, when Tripura added four additional districts, bringing the state’s total number of districts to eight. Part of the district was constituted from the former West Tripura district. The district’s key towns are Bishalgarh, Bishramganj, Melaghar, and Sonamura.
