In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in the Firozabad district, is the city and municipal board of Shikohabad.

Located 22 kilometers south of Shikohabad lies Bateshwar, a well-known Hindu pilgrimage site devoted to Shiva as well as a well-known Jain Tirth on the banks of the Yamuna River.

The city is in the Braj cultural zone, and Brajbhasha is the language spoken there.
