In the Indian state of Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, there is a town and nagar panchayat called Badrinath. It is one of the four pilgrimage destinations of India’s Char Dham, a holy location for Hindus. It takes its name from the Badrinath Temple and is also a stop on the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage route in India.
