Located along National Highway 334A, Laksar is a tiny town in the Haridwar district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand, close to both the city and Nagar Palika. In addition to being a major hub for the state’s sugar industry, Laksar Junction railway station (LRJ), the state’s biggest railway junction, was constructed in 1866.
