The northern Indian state of Uttarakhand has the district of Udham Singh Nagar. The district headquarters are in Rudrapur. Nine Tehsils—Bajpur, Gadarpur, Jaspur, Kashipur, Khatima, Kichha, Nanakmatta, Rudrapur, and Sitarganj—make up the district. The district is a part of Kumaon Division and is situated in the Terai area. Its borders are as follows: the state of Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Pilibhit, and Bijnor Districts border it on the north, Champawat District borders it on the northeast, Nepal borders it on the east, and Nepal borders it on the west. The district was established on September 29, 1995, by the Mayawati government, originating from the Nainital District. It bears Udham Singh’s name, an Indian rebel and freedom fighter
